When does the blossom happen?
Bloom timing depends heavily on altitude and the year’s weather, but as a rough guide the pink season runs from late March into April in the northern valleys, starting lower and moving higher as the weeks pass. Cooler springs push it later; warm spells bring it forward. Because the exact peak shifts every year, it is worth confirming current conditions a week or two ahead rather than booking blind.
Where to see it
The most famous cherry and apricot blossom displays are in the far north — the Hunza and Nagar valleys are the headline destination, where whole terraced hillsides turn pink beneath the Karakoram peaks.
