How to Reach Naran
From Islamabad it is 230 km (5–6 hours) via Abbottabad, Mansehra and Balakot. From Lahore add 4 hours on the motorway. Karachi visitors should fly to Islamabad and join a tour from there.
How Many Days Do You Need?
3 days covers Naran and Saif ul Malook. 4–5 days adds Babusar Top and Shogran / Siri Paye. Trekkers wanting Ansoo Lake should plan 4+ days with a spare weather day.

Mobile Networks & Cash
Telenor and Zong have the best 4G in Naran town; there is no signal at Babusar Top. Bring cash — ATMs in Naran Bazaar often run dry on summer weekends.
Safety
The Kaghan road is fully paved to Naran and safe for families. Altitude sickness is rare below 3,000 m, but take Babusar Top slowly and keep children hydrated.
