This is the Kaghan Valley for people who would rather go deep than go wide. Instead of adding Hunza or Swat, the seven days stay entirely inside Naran's orbit, which buys you the one thing most itineraries can't spare: a dedicated day for the Ansoo Lake trek. That single addition is why we built the trip — the tear-shaped lake sits high above Saif-ul-Malook and needs a full day, a guide and cooperative weather, none of which fit into a shorter tour.
Naran is your base for all six nights, so the week unfolds as a series of unhurried loops: the jeep morning to Saif-ul-Malook, the long day to Babusar Top and Lulusar, the quieter run up to Batakundi, Jalkhad and the Saral Lake road, and a Lalazar plateau afternoon. Keeping one base means no repacking and no long transfers eating into your days — you wake up in the same valley air each morning and head out fresh.
The Ansoo Lake day is deliberately flexible: it is a demanding hike at altitude, and if snow, cloud or trail conditions make it unwise, we swap in an easier valley outing rather than push anyone up the mountain. Pickup is from Islamabad and Rawalpindi, the package is priced per person with a private car, guide and all jeep transfers included, and the best window for the high trek is roughly July to September. Upper-valley and Babusar road access is seasonal, so the exact running order is confirmed against current conditions before you leave.
