Batakundi and Jalkhad are 15–20 km north of Naran Bazaar along the Kunhar River. Batakundi has new riverside hotels offering a peaceful alternative to the busier Naran Bazaar. The sound of the Kunhar River is the constant ambient soundtrack.
Jalkhad is the gateway for serious trekkers heading to Noori Top (5,012m), Tiger Peak, and Saral Lake — challenging 2–4 day expeditions.
How to Get There
From Naran Bazaar, drive 15–20km north on the main Babusar road. All vehicles can reach Batakundi.

Stay in Batakundi for a quieter Naran experience. For Noori Top or Tiger Peak treks, arrange local guides and permits through NaranTours at least 1 week in advance.
