Lalazar is a breathtaking alpine plateau at approximately 3,100 metres, 21 kilometres before Naran. The plateau is covered with some of the finest alpine grasslands in Hazara, surrounded by dense forests of Himalayan cedar, blue pine and fir. Called the 'Mini-Switzerland of Pakistan.'
The wildflower season peaks in the second and third week of July. Camping at Lalazar is one of the finest experiences in Kaghan Valley β flat ground, reliable water sources and extraordinary star visibility.
How to Get There
From Naran, drive 21km back towards Islamabad. A jeep track leads 3β4km to the plateau. Lalazar is included as a stop in all NaranTours Babusar Top packages.
Visitor Tips
Combine with Babusar Top day trip β same route. Most lush in July. Camping under the stars here is one of the finest experiences in Kaghan Valley.
