Babusar Top at 4,173 metres forms the boundary between KPK and Gilgit-Baltistan. On clear days, Nanga Parbat (8,126m) is visible. Snow present even in July. Opens mid-June 2026 after NHMP road clearance.
The road from Naran to Babusar Top passes through Lalazar (3,100m), Besal (3,170m) and Lulusar Lake (3,400m). Temperature at the summit ranges 0–12°C even in summer. No mobile signal at the top — download offline maps before leaving Naran.
How to Get There
From Naran, 4×4 jeep is mandatory — enforced by NHMP checkpoints. The 85km journey takes 3–4 hours one way. Available at Naran Bazaar jeep stand.
Visitor Tips
Start before 8 AM from Naran for clear skies. Carry warm clothing regardless of season. Acclimatize in Naran before ascending. No mobile signal — download offline maps in advance.
